The main goal of the project is to create a stable and well managed network of cultural institutions in Malopolska – region in Southern Poland, as a factor of regional sustainable development.

The project is divided in three phases:
1. Investment (upgrade up to 5.1 Digital sound, installation of 2K d-cinema projectors and servers, and 3D systems, platform with reporting and ticketing system)
2. Management skills training (in order local cinemas could transform into Digital Art Houses providing culture like opera, ballet outside the metropolies)
3. Development strategy of the MDCN (educational and cultural programs taking advantage of 3D projections ex. SUN 3D).

There are 16 cinemas from Malopolska and two from Podkarpacie - members of the network.:

12. Oświęcim (cinema Nasze Kino)
13. Rzeszów (cinema Zorza)
14. Stalowa Wola (cinema Ballada)
15. Tarnów (cinema Millennium)
16. Tuchów (cinema Promień)
17. Trzebinia (cinema Sokół),
18. Wadowice (cinema Centrum)
